Zac Efron Is ‘THE LUCKY ONE’ In New UK Trailer

As an early Christmas treat for the ladies, Warner Bros have sent us the UK teaser trailer for release The Lucky One starring Zac Efron! Adapted from the book of the same name by the acclaimed romantic author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John).
About 10 days ago we gave you a behind the scene’s look in featurette which had Zac and Nicholas Sparks talking about the book come film but today its the turn of the trailer. The trailer gives you a little more insight what to expect let’s be serious here this one is for the girls, its essentially a chick flick which will probably have the girls weak at the knees and their other halves reaching for the sick bag. Zac Efron plays a marine who finds a picture of a woman in a middle of a war zone, a picture he finds which saves him from an explosion and as a debt he goes out to find her.The film has the romance predictability but the female population don’t mind that and this trailer as a extra for girls you even get a quick snippet of Zac Efron in his pants. On a serious note Zac Efron is at a stage of his career where he must prove his worth outside High School Musical and to get the the critics on his side to show that he is an serious actor with ambitions to do more than romance films or he could end up typecast until he’s grey and old.
The Lucky One is in cinemas 4th May in UK&Ireland (USA 20th April) and also stars Taylor Schilling , Blythe Danner and Jay R. Ferguson
U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
