Yellowjackets Intro Given A ‘Golden Girls’ Comedy Intro

I’m not going to beat about the bush, I’ve never seen Yellowjackets. I want to, not even sure if it’s already been shown in the UK yet, if it has probably be on a channel I don’t have access to.  I know of the show and the buzz around it and here’s a little fun video  may bring a smile to fans of the show.

Nerdist video editor Matt Caron has created this The  Golden Girls intro. Anyone who has seen Yellowjackets know it is no comedy, it’s dark, sinister at times even supernatural. This is however the total opposite, more cheerful making the show feel like a comedy.

The Golden Girls which aired on Channel 4 throughout the 1980’s into the 1990’s. The girls in the football team (Soccer for the Americans) from the show were all still in School when the comedy series ended in 1992.

The video does show a mix of the happy times in the series, the survivors as they are today Shauna (Melanie Lynskey), Tai (Tawny Cypress), Natalie (Juliette Lewis), and Misty (Christina Ricci). Off course the dark side as we mentioned before, will they’ll be a second season? Fans will be hoping so and what we know is there is enough to go for at least another…Thank you for being a friend.
