Just when you thought the next film Seth MacFarlane would direct would be Ted 2 (that’s coming 2015), the next live action venture for Family Guy creator sees him head to the wild wild west.To Westland Ho to Ladyticklers hung like an outlaw with smoking guns step forward into virgin territory and watch the red band UK trailer for Million Ways To Die In The West…Yee-Haa!

Million Ways To Die in The West stars MacFarlane as a sheep farmer who pulls out of a gunfight like a coward and thanks to his actions his girlfriend leaves him for another man. As he attempts redemption new love may just be around the corner for the farmer when a mysterious young woman rides into town unleashing a new found courage. As things start to look good for him he must show off that courage and confront the woman’s husband whom happens to the nastiest s.o.b outlaw in the land.

It’s been very quiet in the comedy westerns  sub-genre and Blazing Saddles! even Three Amigos have been waiting a long time for some one to them. Making a Western  is a tricky genre  let alone a comedy one, but MacFarlane’s comedy style fits into the Mel Brooks style (add a tad more crudeness) should make this one should be easy street. Stellar cast behind this one is an indication how much faith people have in MacFarlane, it may feel a little more reserved and toned down  but still expect Family Guy style humour so be cautious showing this to your mum or playing at work, you know the score!

Million Ways To Die In The West will open in UK&Ireland on 6th June co-starring Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and Liam Neeson.

Synopsis
Seth MacFarlane directs, produces, co-writes and plays the role of the cowardly sheep farmer Albert in A Million Ways to Die in the West. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge,the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
