X-Men :First Class Sequel To Shoot January 2013, Captain America:First Avenger Coming 2014

What better time for Disney/Marvel Entertainment to announce the news the sequels to their hit 2011 films 3 weeks before their 2012 potential blockbuster Avengers Assemble is set to be released. Jennifer Lawrence as we know is hot property playing Katniss Everdean as The Hunger Games destroys box offices worldwide she was involved in another franchise, a rebooted one X-Men last year playing the shape shifting Mystique and due to the success of The X-Men: First Class it was obvious a follow up film was on the cards, but here lies the small problem.
20th Century Fox and Lionsgate both have worldwide franchises and both want their prized star, but with both films dues to shoot similar times a war was expected on our hands between the studios. According to Heat Vision that will not happen now as Fox have annouced X-Men First Class sequel will now start shooting January 2013 giving Miss Everdean to head back to Capitol City for Catching Fire. The good news mean Lawrence will now be able to star in both films but from the Autumn she will have busy time ahead starting September with Catching Fire putting down her Bow for some shape shifting in Matthew Vaughn’s follow up film. As for The Hunger Games helmer, there’s no word yet if Gary Ross will be the director as his future on the franchise is secure despite the first film really a cash cow to success for Lionsgate.
Marvel’s patriotic American super soldier Captain America (Chris Evans) will be making his second appearance on the big screen with this month’s Avengers Assemble that on April 4th, 2014 he will be on our screens again. For a while we’ve known that Marvel’s scheduled a film to titled Untiled Marvel 1 with a April 2014 release and another Untitled Marvel 2 May 2014 release, so now we know Untitled Marvel 1 is now Captain America 2 which will pick up where Avengers Assemble ends.
What we know is “Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.” Now The Cap is in present day, it’s suggested that alot of the action may take place in flashbacks, though ignoring his current time could be a bad move.If flashbacks are in order could we expect to see Dominic Cooper, Haley Altweel, Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles once again?
So now we know Marvel Entertainment’s schedule for the next couple of years with Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 set 2013 May 3rd slot, Thor 2 set for November 2013, Captain America 2 April 2014, so what will Untitled Marvel 2 for May 2014 be? Could that film project be waiting for the outcome of Avengers Assemble? Could this be one of the Avengers like Black Widow, Hawkeye or even the long awaited third Hulk film? Then could this be Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man film? I think we’ll find out very shortly!
