2018 Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura. This year’s Royal Rumble match sees a heavyweight brand of names, potentially making this the biggest Royal Rumble match in recent memory.

While the current favorites appear to be Roman Reigns and Shinsuke Nakamura, there are a few other potential winners. For example, Finn Balor looks to be a good shout, as one has to he never lost the WWE Universal Championship. Also, perhaps WWE are going down the route of having John Cena win his third Rumble match.

Furthermore, is this the chance WWE take to redeem Roman Reign’s status and win the Rumble match in Philadelphia three years on?

As for this huge match, I am going with a first Rumble victory for Shinsuke Nakamura!

Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura to win the 2018 Royal Rumble Match.

2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Match

For the first time ever, the Women’s division of the WWE are set to have their own Royal Rumble Match! 30 women battle for a chance at either respective WWE Women’s Championship.

At this point, rumors of Ronda Rousey appearing in the match are somewhat fizzling out. However, many believe her denial of being present at the show are simply a work, but we shall find out tonight.

The still undefeated Asuka will be a tough prospect to look past in this match, as she is yet to lose in her WWE career. So will the Empress keep her momentum going by winning the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match?

Prediction: Asuka to win the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

Brock Lesnar VS Braun Strowman VS Kane: Triple Threat Match For The WWE Universal Championship

Not exactly a title match for the ages ahead, however there shall be some elements of Braun Strowman growing into his role.

Over the past few weeks, these three superstars have been a collision course. Current reigning WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar looks to be going into a year of his title reign, as near enough no one sees him losing the title tonight.

With not too much to say about this bout, I am with a title retention for Brock Lesnar.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar to win to retain the WWE Universal Championship.

AJ Styles VS Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens: Handicap Match For The WWE Championship

There is no doubt this match has potential to be good. However, the prospect of a handicap match for the WWE Universal Championship, is slightly confusing.

While we understand the premise of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens working together; perhaps a one on one bout between either superstar and AJ Styles would have been more ideal?

As for my prediction, I am with AJ Styles retaining the WWE Championship.

Prediction: AJ Styles to defeat Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Championship.

Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan VS Sheamus & Cesaro: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions

The seeds for a Jason Jordan heel-turn have already been planted, now the Royal Rumble could finally see the turn materializing.

In recent weeks, a rift between Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan has been showing, thus it would only make sense for it to come full circle at the Rumble. On the other hand, Sheamus and Cesaro would be good picks to retake the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, as they are still one of the best teams in the company.

I am with Sheamus and Cesaro winning the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.

Prediction: Sheamus & Cesaro to defeat Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.

The Usos VS Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable: Two Out Of Three Falls For The WWE Smackdown Live! Tag Team Champions

Truly destined to be a great bout, The Usos are sure to put on a clinic at the Royal Rumble!

This tag team feud has produced some great bouts in recent weeks, thus we can expect more of the same from the two in their two out of three falls match.

Since his return to WWE, Shelton Benjamin has been working well with Chad Gable, and now would be a good time to put the tag titles on them!
