Where The Buffalo Roam is to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. Comic star Bill Murray is at his wildest as America’s leading “Gonzo” journalist, Dr. Hunter S. Researching his character for Where The Buffalo Roam, Bill Murray spent time with Hunter S. Thompson by drinking, shooting and generally having a great time at Thompson’s Colorado ranch. After filming ended, Murray continued to act “Gonzo” through the beginning of the next season of Saturday Night Live wearing dark glasses and carrying a long black cigarette holder, unfortunately this didn’t go down very well with the cast and crew who described him as “a tyrant”.

This off-the-wall comedy also boasts a musical score by rock superstar Neil Young (who has a cameo role) and a hit-crammed soundtrack featuring Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Temptations, The Pointer Sisters and Jimi Hendrix.

In Where The Buffalo Roam Dr Hunter S, Thompson (Bill Murray) along with former attorney and friend Carl Lazlo Esq (Peter Boyle), offers a manic look back at the Sixties and Seventies as an eyewitness to everything from a free-for-all San Francisco drug trial to a one-on-one bathroom interview with the presidential candidate Richard Nixon.
