Wes Anderson Next Film Is The French Dispatch Cast Details Emerge

Oscars maybe only a few months away, Wes Anderson‘s Isle Of Dogs may be in the running for some contention. It seems as we wait the filmmaker has started (or about to) production on his tenth feature.

There has been much gossip that the feature will be a musical. According to Indiewire that doesn’t seem to be the case. According to the sites close source, the film will be called The French Dispatch. Not an all singing all dancing affair, but a ‘Love letter to journalists’.

What we know is the film is currently in the middle of shooting in Southern . A story set in the 20th century based around an outpost of an American newspaper based in Paris and centred on three storylines. The film will mark his first feature film set in the city, which he currently resides in.

The film will be staring Wes Anderson Alumni Bill Murray, s McDormand, and Tilda Swinton. They will be ed by some new faces such as Benicio del Toro and Timothée Chalamet. There is also gossip saying that three other unconfirmed actors will also star in the film. It’s believed to be Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, and Lea Seydoux. Those three will be great additions. All three are not strangers to Wes Anderson‘s work with Seydoux starring in The Grand Budapest Hotel, with Pitt and Portman in his short films.

Whilst promoting A Beautiful Boy American promotion he did tease reporter he was working soon on an unnamed project he can’t say much about. Now it seems that project os The French Dispatch.

Whilst we don’t know much more about this film, we can assume will reflect the current Political status of America home and overseas. Politics is something Anderson usually byes, but its one that fits the current climate. Like any news, this story isn’t 100% confirmed, so details could change.
