Portals (or Doors as it’s called in the USA) stars Josh Peck we find ourselves in a world where mysterious ‘doors’ appear around the world. In attempt to learn what these ‘doors’ are all about and why they are here. When people start walking through these doors they disappear, this challenges humanity’s existence. Scientists attempt to make some , what lies waiting for them on the other side?

There’s a big Arrival vibe here which I like. Very atmospheric and it looks like the film plays several different stories. When it comes to what is behind the door your mind runs wild with possibilities and a reminder maybe we should leave things alone.

Portal is a captivating and visually-arresting sci-fi thriller that pushes the boundaries of science fiction storytelling. From the team that brought you V/H/S, Sea Fever and Becky, the film stars Josh Peck (Drake & Josh, Mean Creak), Wilson bethel (Daredevil, Hart of Dixie) and Lina Esco (Kingdom, S.W.A.T.).

When a number of mysterious, alien “doors” appear suddenly around the globe, individuals from all walks of life must come together to discover what these doors are, where they lead, and if we can–or should–attempt to cross to the other side.

The film  also stars Lina Esco, Wilson Bethel, Kyp Malone, Kathy Khanh, Julianne Collins, Dugan O’Neal, Aric Generette Floyd, Rory Anne Dahl, Kristina Lear, Bailee Cowperthwaite, Bira Vanara, Darius Levanté, and David Hemphill.

Portals will be released by Signature Entertainment  in the UK and Ireland on DVD as well as Digital HD from 19th April.
