We are fans of Oldboy and can’t hide our excitement of how much we love this film and the fact the director Park Chan Wook has taken his first steps into English Language films with his Gothic horror Stoker. Just over a week ago we were seduced by the stylish American trailer and now we have the UK trailer which further highlights how dark, unsettling  damn right creepy most of all we love this even more!

Mia Wasikowska plays India a young woman whose mourning the death of her father with Nicole Kidman playing her widowed emotionally unstable mother Evelyn both are visited by India’s mysterious uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode). When Charlie arrives people start going missing and over time India discovers her uncle may have an ulterior motive on why he’s here. This new trailer sheds a bit more light on the story especially on the relationship between India and Evelyn that this one psychological family drama. Believe it or not Stoker has been written by actor come writer Wentworth Miller (Michael from Prison Break) who describe Stoker as Vampire film that’s not really a vampire film, confused? we are! With a big slice of Hitchcock thrown in with dollops of not knowning what to expect Stoker looks like one of the most exciting dark films for 2013!

Stoker will arrive in UK&Ireland March 1st, 2013.

*5th October 2012 Update A big thanks to Fox International for sending us our own copy of the UK Trailer*

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
