Watch UK Trailer For One Of These Days Starring Joe Cole

Last week saw the return of The Peaky Blinders returned to our TV Screens for a sixth and final season. One of it’s stars Joe Cole has exchanged his wit for endurance in true life indie drama, One Of These Days. Studio Soho Distribution have sent us the film’s UK Trailer for your viewing pleasure.

The film is written and directed by  German filmmaker Bastian Günther that premiered at Berlin Film Festival. It also played various other festivals worldwide all with critical acclaim.

Cole plays Kyle a young father who is given an offer to win a new pick up truck. The catch is he must play an ‘hands on contest’, the winner must keep his or hers hand on the truck the longest. Every contestant has their own reasons, how long can Kyle hold on and at what cost?

People will do desperate things to win, this film looks at that. This is based on a true story, sadly the ending is a tragic one.

In a small southern town in the US, twenty volunteers compete to win a brand-new pick-up truck, in the annual ‘Hands On’ contest, a prize that might finally tip the scales of life in their favour. Each contestant has their own reasons for ing the contest, and as the blisteringly hot days and long nights add up, their humanity is laid bare.

Car dealership employee Joan (Carrie Preston, “The Good Wife”, True Blood”) provides fervent enthusiasm to the contestants, including the young family man Kyle (Joe Cole, “Gangs Of London”, “Peaky Blinders, “A Prayer Before Dawn”), who wants to win the car at all costs, but who will hold on and win – and at what cost?

The film also stars Carrie Preston, Callie Hernandez, Lucy Faust, Devyn A. Tyler, Ritchie Montgomery, Jesse C. Boyd, and Cullen Moss.

One Of These Days will be released in UK and Irish Cinemas from 1st April.
