“He’s Coming!” and he’ll be coming in January 2025, when Universal Pictures release Robert Eggers Nosferatu. Today we get a first glimpse at the much anticipated horror with the first intense UK Trailer!
We’ve been hearing about this project for a long time and now The VVitch as well as tease the titular vampire is with us and close by.
Nosferatu is played by Bill Skarsgård who is no stranger to the iconic horror villain, he was Pennywise the Clown is the IT remake films. Of course this is a completely different type of character also known as Count Orlok.
We go back to the Victorian age, Count Orlok the ancient vampire who becomes obsessed with the young wife of the man the Count is doing business with. Chilling trailer and we can expect this version to be very dark, moody following the classic story.
Robert Eggers’ NOSFERATU is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.
The rest of the cast for this one includes Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe. Universal Pictures will be releasing Nosferatu in the UK and Ireland 3rd January 2025. If you live in the U.S you can catch the film 25th December, aka Christmas Day.
