Watch The ‘Explosive’ Spontaneous Trailer Starring Katherine Langford

I wonder if Katherine Langford will ever get a film or show where she won’t get a rough time. From been murdered, cursed in mythology or accused of murdering her grandfather, her latest film Spontaneous she might explode!

Paramount Pictures has released the Trailer for this coming of age with a big slice of horror and comedy, that people might explode! Sounds outrageous as this school the students can die thanks to spontaneous combustion! Around the mystery Mara (Langford) Dylan (Charlie Plummer) a romance blossoms between the two.

The film marks the directorial feature debut for Brian Duffield. He has made a name for himself as a writer, scripting the likes of Insurgent, The Babysitter and more recently Underwater. Despite the dark tone it does feel very upbeat and nice to see a Coming Of Age film trying to be a little different.

Get ready for the most outrageous coming-of-age love story about growing up…and blowing up! When students in their high school begin inexplicably exploding (literally…), seniors Mara (Katherine Langford) and Dylan (Charlie Plummer) struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last. As an unexpected romance blossoms between them, Mara and Dylan discover that when tomorrow is no longer promised, they can finally start living for today!

The film also stars Yvonne Orji, Hayley Law, Rob Huebel, and Piper Perabo.

Spontaneous will be released in the US, first limited cinema release on 2nd October then PVOD on 6th October. There’s no word on an UK release, however this film was mean’t to get a cinema release UK and is expected to go directly yo PVOD with 6th October a date been mentioned but not confirmed.
