Today in the UK and Ireland (2nd August in the U.S), Paramount Pictures have released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem in cinemas nationwide. To celebrate today’s release Paramount have released a new Featurette that delves into the film’s inspiration.
This new promo is called ‘Behind The Nostalgia‘. The Featurette delves into from the first drawing from the character’s co-creator Kevin Eastman to making it’s way onto the big screen. A special coming of age story that would become a popular Nickelodeon TV Show to a feature film.
As for the film, Freda Cooper reviewed it giving it 4 stars. Saying “well-chosen voices and some devilish pop-culture gags – the best is directed at Messrs Pine, Pratt and Evans – makes this latest turtle adventure one heck of an enjoyable ride. the pizza.”

After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
The voice cast includes Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), and Brady Noon (Raphael) as our ‘Teen half shell heroes’. Also Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Brady Noon. ing them will be Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is in UK and Irish cinemas now.
