Watch The OK GO The Muppets Theme Tune Video!

Yesterday I got this video sent to me from Walt Disney uk yesterday however the video was quickly dropped for a reason, its because today the video was officially released the theme tune from The Muppets by OK GO starring The Muppets! Yeahhh!!!

Been now in my 30’s i’m of that age group who can when Jim Henson rules the tv primetime slots back in the 1980’s with our favourite puppets, it was true family entertainment that all of your family could enjoy but now nearly 3 decades on they are returning to the big screen.  The song is part of the ‘Green Album’ a collection of  Muppets songs covered by the likes of Weezer, The Fray, Alkaline Trio and Amy Lee and OK GO are renowned for spoofing music videos so its no surprise they got the theme!

Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper along with a host of thousands of  cameos will star but as we know the true stars of this movie are Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie and gang, still a long way to go until the movie arrives  in UK& Ireland February 2012!

To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
