Viola Davis' President Is The Target In G20 Trailer

Prime Video has unveiled the first look trailer at their action thriller G20, coming to the streamer this Spring, and you can watch the trailer below!

Oscar Winner Viola Davis leads the film as President of the United States who, after the G20 summit comes under attack, becomes the number one target for attackers. Patricia Riggen (The 33, Miracles From Heaven) directs the film from a script by Caitlin Parrish & Erica Weiss and Logan Miller & Noah Miller.

Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar and Antony Starr make up the ing cast for the film.

Here’s the official synopsis: “When the G20 summit comes under siege, U.S. President Danielle Sutton (Academy Award winner Viola Davis) becomes the number one target. After evading capture by the attackers, she must outsmart the enemy to protect her family, defend her country, and safeguard world leaders in this action-packed thrill ride.”

Last seen on screen in 2023’s Air and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has most recently been heard reprising her role as Amanda Waller in DC’s animated series Creature Commandos. She will next be seen in Children of Blood and Bone, Gina Prince-Blythwood’s adaptation of the bestselling novel.
