‘Unleash The Beast’ With Nightbitch On Disney+ In January

This month Disney+ are ready to ‘Unleash The Beast‘ when they are set to release Nightbitch starring Amy Adams.

The film is directed Marielle Heller (Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood), which is based on the acclaimed debut novel by Rachel Yoder of the same name. The film is a bit of an oddity to describe, it’s a horror, it’s a satire as much as it’s an empowered drama. It made it’s world premiere at Toronto last year and created a buzz at all it’s festival screenings.

Nightbitch follows a woman (Amy Adams) who pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her new domesticity takes a surreal turn.

The film ed sadly with very few people seeing the film at cinemas. It did divide opinion at The Peoples Movies HQ, however our writer Shivam Chowdary loved it.Shivam described the film “Nightbitch is a powerful, strange, and deeply affecting film that lingers long after its final howl. Adams is magnetic, carrying the weight of the film with a performance that is both ferocious and heart-breaking. It’s a savage attack against the platonic ideals of motherhood and it demands to be heard“.
