Tough choices will be made in Sci-fi survival thriller The Occupant. Last night at the inaugural SXSW London, the film made it’s world premiere, today Signature Entertainment release the UK Trailer.

This stars Ella Balinska and Rob Delaney plus Stuart Graham, Vanessa Ifediora  and Armin Karima.  Directed by Hugo Keijzer and this is based on his 2019 short film The Occupant: Prologue.

In The Occupant, taking no for an answer, Abby will do anything to help her sister get experimental cancer treatment.  She takes a high risk job at an uranium mine, things change when a helicopter crashes. She attempts to save the American pilot, slowly learning the disturbing truth about him.

Desperate to fund an experimental treatment for her sister Beth’s terminal cancer, Abby takes a high-risk but well-paid job at a uranium mine in Northern Georgia. Her attempt to return home after discovering a mysterious, potentially valuable mineral element is halted after her helicopter crashes in the remote mountains. Stranded, she finds hope through John, an American pilot radioing from nearby. As their connection deepens, Abby uncovers a disturbing truth about John, forcing her to make an impossible choice. Starring Ella Balinska (Resident Evil), Rob Delaney (Catastrophe), Stuart Graham (Hunger), Vanessa Ifediora (Belfast) and Armin Karima (Sex Education), The Occupant is written by Philip Michael Howe, Roelof Jan Minneboo (Corn Island), Xiao Tang and Hugo Kejizer and is directed by Keijzer.
