Ethan Coen needs no introduction, he’s one half of The Coen Brothers. After years of producing he’s about to make his directorial feature debut with Drive Away Dolls. Fasten your seatbelts things are about to get wild as Universal Pictures have released the first UK Trailer.

The paths we take in life are never perfect and sometimes we take on some touch maybe dangerous challenges. This is the case for Margaret Qualley who plays free spirited Jamie who once again split up with another girlfriend. With her friend Marian (Geraldine Viswanathan) the pair attempt to make a fresh start in life. Embarking on a road trip that quickly ‘goes south’ when they cross paths with the wrong people.

The Coen Brothers may have went their own ways creatively, there is still some trademark Coen Brother stylings. Joel has also stamped his own style on his film with plenty of action, naughtiness next to crime and comedy…

Written by Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke, this comedy caper follows Jamie, an uninhibited free spirit bemoaning yet another breakup with a girlfriend, and her demure friend Marian who desperately needs to loosen up. In search of a fresh start, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but things quickly go awry when they cross paths with a group of inept criminals along the way. Directed by Ethan Coen.

The film also stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp, Beanie Feldstein, Annie Gonzalez, and Joey Slotnick.

Drive Away Dolls doesn’t have a announced UK and Irish cinema release date. It’s at ‘Coming Soon’, however the film in the U.S will be released in September.
