Things Get ‘Chaotic’ In Platonic Season 2 First Teaser
Keep an eye out everyone’s favourite friends will be back for Platonic! Apple TV+ have released a first teaser for the hot comedy starring Rose Byrne.
Despite the chaos, the shenanigans of the debut season, stressful jobs, wedding dramas the pair reconnect again. This time it’s the tribulations of mid-life chaos and pretending they can play golf . As you’ll see, they pair cannot play golf!
The new season cast includes Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo, and introduces Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett as guest stars.
This promo plays more like a short clip than an actual trailer. The main point of the promo is the important news that the 10 episode season 2 is coming in August!
Platonic follows a platonic pair of former best friends approaching midlife (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) who reconnect after a long rift. The duo’s friendship becomes all consuming—and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way. The ensemble cast also stars Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, and Andrew Lopez. Platonic is produced by Sony Pictures Television, where Stoller and Stoller’s Global Solutions has an overall deal. Byrne, Rogen, Stoller, Delbanco and Conor Welch executive produce.
Platonic Season 2 will premiere globally on Apple TV+ from Wednesday 6th August.
