Things Get Bloody In Osgood Perkins’ The Monkey Teaser Trailer

Osgood Perkins is fast becoming a name to look out for in Horror with Longlegs. Now Black Bear tease us with The Monkey Teaser Trailer his next film and things are getting bloody.

Perkins next film is based on Stephen King‘s short story which will star Theo James and Tatiana Maslany. This is only a teaser which doesn’t reveal any proper footage, the music itself is very creepy. There is also a glimpse of the toy monkey which the film then things get a little bloody with James covered.

What is The Monkey all about? To be honest Black Bear didn’t reveal much when they sent us the trailer over. Perkins does have help from James Wan as a producer and with the film based on King book there the anticipation will be big. James plays twin brothers who have what looks like a cursed toy monkey. When people start to die and the brothers try to move, however the curse continues.

Based on the short story by Stephen King. When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.

The cast for this one also stars  Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, and Sarah Levy. The Monkey will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st February 2025.
