Things Are Looking up For Bond 25

Bond 25

Now that the chaos, for the most part, has departed the Bond 25 set, except for Grace Jones departing it because she did not have enough lines, there seems to be a good amount of positive news lately. Maniac series and the feature, Beasts of No Nation. It’s not surprising to see the director bring someone of his own along on the series. The two have worked together since Fukunaga departed True Detective and they obviously have a rhythm. This is positive news and not a sound transmitter.

This news comes on the heels of the Bond production being back in England and filming. It’s quite exciting to see Craig back up on his feet and back in action. He has been able to bring a lot of attention to the role because of his commitment to it and continued focus on making the movies the best they can be. When the franchise eventually loses him, it will be a great one. It’s hard to think who could replace the actor, who has portrayed the character since 2006.

A sizzle reel of footage from the set in Jamaica was also released, which showed a great deal of what they are going for with the film. It will definitely be something that brings 007 back into action after Felix Leiter comes to see him in Jamaica. He has been living there since the events of Spectre, where he took down his evil stepbrother who had orchestrated the recent tragic events of Bond’s life. It would be interesting to see that stepbrother return since they did not kill the character off but it seems Rami Malek’s unknown antagonist will be the focus for the film. He won’t be using a sound transmitter but he will be a difficult character to do battle with.

As with most Bond movies, we do not know a great deal going into the movies. That might be the best way to go about as it leaves us to our imaginations where the movie will be going and film franchise as a whole.
