Directed by Nia D’Costa (Candyman reboot) with Brie Larson returning as Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani as Ms.Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Park Seo-joon make the rest of the cast.
For anyone who has seen the Secret Invasion from Disney+, The Marvels seems to continue the story. With the universe destabilized, Captain Marvel feels partly guilty. Things go bad to worse when a Kree wormhole drags her through entangling her powers with Ms.Marvel.
It’s divided audiences, it’s fast paced, is it worth your time? Only you can answer that one!

In Marvel Studios’ The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.
This also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Park Seo-joon. The Marvels will be available from all major Digital Retailers (including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Sky Store) from 16th January.
