The Hips Cause ‘pandemonium’ In New Clip For Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis

If you were left all shook up by the first Trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, it’s going to be ‘pandemonium’ with the latest promo. Warner Bros have sent us a brand new clip called ‘Hayride‘  which sees the King Elvis Pressley  taking his first steps into the world of rock n’ roll.  As you’ll see even the greats in music get nerves before a show, but soon as he starts he’s got the audience under his spell especially the female audience!

Austin Butler plays Elvis, with Tom Hanks as Tom Parker and Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley. The film promises to follow the life and celebrate the music from the musical icon from his rise to fame along with the stardom.

From Oscar-nominated visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann comes Warner Bros. Pictures’ drama “Elvis,” starring Austin Butler and Oscar winner Tom Hanks.

The film explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Butler), seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Hanks). The story delves into the complex dynamic between Presley and Parker spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the most significant and influential people in Elvis’s life, Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).

The cast include Helen Thomson, Richard Roxburgh, Luke Bracey, Natasha Bassett, David Wenham, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Xavier Samuel, Kodi Smit-Mhee, Dacre Montgomery, Leon Ford, Kate Mulvany, Gareth Davies, Charles Grounds, Josh McConville, Adam Dunn, Yola, Alton Mason, Gary Clark Jr., Shonka Dukureh.

Baz Luhrmann‘s Elvis will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas from 24th June.
