Bill Murray in The French Dispatch out on 3rd April 2023 in UK exclusively from HMV

Wes Anderson‘s The French Dispatch is finally getting a UK Blu-ray release next month. After nearly a year on Disney+ and available on Digital, Searchlight Pictures announce HMV will exclusively release the Blu-ray.

Wes Anderson, this, his tenth feature, brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.

The French Dispatch Blu-ray coming to UK 3rd April only at HMVOn the death of its beloved Kansas-born editor Arthur Howitzer, Jr., (Bill Murray) the staff of The French Dispatch, a widely circulated American magazine based in the French city of Ennui-sur-Blasé, convenes to write his obituary. Memories of Howitzer flow into the creation of four stories: a travelogue of the seediest sections of the city itself from The Cycling Reporter; “The Concrete Masterpiece,” about a criminally insane painter, his guard and muse, and his ravenous dealers; “Revisions to a Manifesto,” a chronicle of love and death on the barricades at the height of student revolt; and “The Private Dining Room of the Police Commissioner,” a suspenseful tale of drugs, kidnapping and fine dining.

The cast for this one includes Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Timothee Chalamet. Along with  Adrien Brody, Lea Seydoux, s McDormand, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith , Stephen Park,Lois Smith. Also Tony Revolori, Saoirse Ronan, Christoph Waltz, Cecile De , Guillaume Gallienne, Jason Schwartzman, Henry Winkler, Rupert Friend, Bob Balaban, Anjelica Huston and Hippolyte Girardot.

The French Dispatch will be available on Blu-ray on 3rd April exclusively at HMV in the UK.
