The First New Clips For George Clooney’s The Ides Of March

As we speak the 2011 Venice Film festival has kicked off and one of the movies showcasing at the festival as well as opening the movie is George Clooney’s Ides Of March which co-stars Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Max Minghella. Clooney himself also stars in this movie which he stars as Governor Morris on the presidential campaign trail for the democrats with Ryan Gosling playing the the young campaign mastermind who is attempting to get Norris into the White House up against Republican rival played by Paul Giamatti .
This movie looks to certainly showcase George Clooney’s directorial talents but also highlights the fantastic future Ryan Gosling has ahead of him and I know its still a few months away you would be a fool to count out Ides Of March from nominations for the next Oscars. Ides Of March is also playing at this years Toronto Film Festival before it heads out cinematically in UK&Ireland on October 28th (USA October 7th). You can catch Ryan Gosling on the big screen before then on September 23rd when Drive will be released and the word from Harry & Dexter this is a movie not to be missed!
