Ryusuke Hamaguchi's Evil Does Exist to have it's UK Premiere at BFI London Film Festival

This week the BFI will reveal the full line up of this year’s 67th London Film Festival, today they tease us all with the films in their Competition strand.

The line-up led by  new films from Japanese filmmaker Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Drive My Car), Lukas Moodysson (We Are Best!) and Kitty Green (The Assistant).

The festival unveiled 11 films competing for the Best Film Award in Official Competition. It’s not just about the established filmmakers, the First Feature Competition will also showcase 11 films screen which recognises the most original and imaginative directorial debut, competing for the Sutherland Award. 8 films screen in the Documentary Competition, competing for the Grierson Award and 10 films screen in the Short Film Competition, competing for the Short Film Award.

Also returning will be the popular London Film Festival Audience Awards.

The films represented in each of these competitive strands offer audiences an exciting array of UK and global filmmaking voices and cinematic forms.
