Tehran Season 2 Full Trailer Introduces Glenn Close

We’ve known for a long time that Hollywood A-Lister Glenn Close was ing acclaimed espionage thriller series Tehran, today Apple TV obliged with new second Trailer. In the latest promo we get to see Close show off her star power and the Mossad Agent who looks to be our heroine’s in the heart of danger

Tehran follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran’s nuclear reactor. But, when her mission fails, Tamar must plan an operation that will place everyone dear to her in jeopardy. Whilst undercover in Iran, mingling with the locals Tamar starts to question her heritage.

The trailer does reflect on the key moments of the previous season. Will Tamar ever escape and dodge the Iranian Revolutionary Guard? It looks like every time she’s compromised, she has to regroup and go on another dangerous mission. Close is the main focus of this trailer, we do learn trust no one even if that person is meant to be on the same side.

The new season stars two-time Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Glenn Close and Niv Sultan, who returns as Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, as well as Shaun Toub and Shervin Alenabi.

The rest of the cast also includes Shaun Toub, Shervin Alenabi, Arash Marandi and Shila Ommi

Tehran Season 2 will premiere on Apple TV+ next month on 6th May, with the first two episodes. Followed by new weekly episodes each Friday during it’s eight-episode season run through until 17th June.
