“Take Me Home” – Extended Preview For James Gunn’s Superman Features Krypto & Fortress Of Solitude

Set to be shown this weekend in front of A Minecraft Movie, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC have unveiled a sneak peek at their summer blockbuster Superman, which you can view in all its intergalactic glory below.
The clip showcases some sequences and shots we have seen in the first trailer and TV spots, but, for the first time, we get our first proper look at Krypto the Superdog, who looks set to steal the show. Thinking Superman wants to play, he has to stop him to tell him to take him home, leading to our first glimpse at the famous Fortress of Solitude and the first ever appearance on the big screen of Superman Robots.
In addition to everything new in Gunn’s film, we are still very excited by the modern-day reinvention of John Williams’s iconic score from the original films. That alone is enough for us, but this sneak peek gets us even more excited and promises something we haven’t seen before with the character.
Written and directed by Gunn, the film stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Mercad, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Skyler Gisondo, Pruitt Taylor Vance, Neva Howell, Sara Sampaio, and Wendell Pierce. It will be part of DC Universe’s first phase, Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
Superman is released in cinemas on July 11th.
