Sunday Short Theatre: Watch The Very Funny Godfart
How was the Universe created? God’s quest for his breakfast! Let there be farts!

It’s been a long long time since we’ve had an episode of Sunday Short Theatre, we have a funny short for you. Behold Godfart! The very funny short film that takes us back to the beginning and how the Universe created.
Godfart running time is just under 3 minutes long and created by Seattle based filmmaker Michael Langan. Science and religion clash constantly on how we were all created of course each side has their opinion on how. What side do you believe? When you watch this short film, you’ll find out the real reason! We’re created thanks to high Alighty letting rip a fart! Oh I can name that tune in one!!
In this short, Russell Hodgkinson is God and his face will be familiar to you especially if you were a fan of Z Nation. He played Steven ‘Doc’ Beck our favourite stoner , and now he’s ‘The Big Man’ (as some of us call him in Scotland). God is hungry and this is his quest for his breakfast.
Great to see Russell on the screen again in some shape or form, he was many Z Nation’s fan favourite. Not an easy task to pull be it only for a few minutes and fluctuance can be a ‘Big Bang’ for some. Funny to learn that the death of a pair of socks for the director inspired this great little film.
In the beginning, God was hungry – An amusing take on how the universe was created, starting with God’s quest for breakfast.
Head over to Michael Langan‘s Sunday Short Theatre into 2025 and beyond, enjoy!
