Spike Lee’s Malcolm X Getting A 4K UK Release

Denzel Washington is one of film’s greatest living actors, Spike Lee‘s Malcolm X perfect example of his greatness. Icon Film Distribution next are set to re-release the double Oscar nominated biographical epic, to the UK for the first time in stunning 4K.
Washington plays the iconic divisive political voices in American history. A man who once lived a life of crime to becoming a member of member of The Nation Of Islam during the Civil Rights era of American history.
The 4K Ultra HD special collector’s edition, packaged with a O-ring, will contain an exclusive, limited-edition poster and four art cards. The film will also be released as a standalone Blu-ray, with both editions including 20 minutes of deleted scenes and the film’s original trailer.

Malcolm X will also be available to buy and rent in 4K from 29th July on Sky and iTunes.
