Someone's Watching In The Maze Runner Trailer, Featurettes

After The Hunger Games and various other young pretenders will there ever be a new crowned king of young adult movies? Wes Ball’s The Maze Runner this Autumn will try to run away with it and early indications his debut directorial feature may steal the crown.

Someone’s always watching in the latest set of exciting assets for the movie we get another look at the film via a new second trailer, the first official clip and a host of video featurettes where we’ll meet The Gladers.

The Maze Runner is based on the James Dashner novel of the same, set in a post apocalyptic world where we meet a community of young men all with memories erased. They all discover they are all trapped living in a maze, all ‘runners’ but who brought them here? As the group attempt to investigate why they have been brought to this mysterious place they start to unravel the clues that they are in a dangerous place and who is responsible.

End of last month a ‘fan screening’ was held at Comic Con with the overall reaction was very good which is very positive as the sub-genre is at boiling point. The genre needs a boost and The Maze Runner may deliver in something with tension don’t be surprised if the next 2 novels from the trilogy see the light of day on the big screen.

The Maze Runner also stars Kaya Scodelario, Patricia Clarkson,Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Will Poulter, Aml Ameen, and Ki Hong Lee. The film arrives in UK on 26th October.
