Solve Or Die Watch Escape Room: Tournament of Champions Trailer

Play the game or die as Sony Pictures Releasing release the first UK Trailer for Escape Room: Tournament of Champions.

Adam Robitel‘s  2019 horror thriller arrived with very little fanfare. Whilst reviews divided those who saw it  including myself thought it’s one that could be filed as ‘underrated’. It wasn’t prefect, certainly entertaining and now the two survivors (Taylor Russell, Logan Miller) are back and ready to torment the evil corporation behind these rooms. As you’ll see from the name of the film, the other contestants are strangers to these rooms either!

When we last met Zoey and Ben they were on the way to the next tournament. They arrive to meet no one is a stranger to the ‘Escape Rooms’, once again they must face these deadly rooms again. Will our champions get their revenge?

This actually potentially looks like it could be better than the original. The rooms are bigger, crazier and once again pay homage to Saw/Cube lite style thriller. Could we go as far as saying the Minos Corporation could sharing tips with the Umbrella Corporation (Resident Evil)?

Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is the sequel to the box office hit psychological thriller that terrified audiences around the world. In this instalment, six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive…and discovering they’ve all played the game before.

The film will  also star  Thomas Cocquerel, Holland Roden, Indya Moore, Carlito Olivero, and Jay Erving.

Sony will release Escape Room: Tournament of Champions sometime in the Summer for the UK and Ireland. The actual release date has not been announced, if you live in the U.S it’s 16th July.
