Second The Super Mario Bros. Movie UK Trailer Arrives, Wahoo!!!

Universal Pictures have revealed the second UK Trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie…Wahoo!

Like any big franchise movie adaptation, fans will wonder if there will be other IP‘s. This latest trailer that gives us a better insight of the story does one thing…Reveal Nintendo will have many other of it’ IP’s in this one will have many. To be precise, the promo introduces Donkey Kong (voiced by Seth Rogen), and Princess Peach (Anya Taylor Joy).

It will also be a family affair, as Mario’s( Chris Pratt) brother Luigi (Charlie Day) will help the cause. Or will he?

Once again, Universal Pictures haven’t revealed a synopsis for the film. The question is, do we need one as things are usually slapstick. Even get a glimpse of Mario travelling through Mushroom Land playing things like the video game.

Do we really care if there’s no synopsis? Not really, as long as the film isn’t like 1993 Bob Hoskins  live version we’ll be fine. Well sort of, does Chris Pratt suit Mario’s accent?

The rest of the cast who lend their voices are Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

The Super Mario Bros Movie now has a confirmed release date. In the UK and Ireland that date will be 31st March 2023, in the U.S it will be 7th April 2023.
