Sebastian Stan and Leo Woodall are set to star in Justin Kurzelās new film Burning Rainbow Farm.
The project will be introduced to international buyers at Cannes by Rocket Science, with CAA Media Finance repping North American distribution rights, according to Deadline.
It is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Tommy Murphy, published in 2006.
Dean Kuipers will be adapting this true story of Tom Crosslin and Rollie Rohm, a couple based in rural Michigan who build the Rainbow Farm, which farms marijuana.
When the pair run from local authorities, their young son is taken and a standoff ensues, leading to one of the largest sieges in America.
Kurzel said: āBurning Rainbow is a love story about two outliers who raise their middle finger to hate and declare āThis is who we are, and we dare you to take it from usā.
āIām excited to create this loveable and courageous couple with Sebastian and Leo, their union will be one to .ā
Stan is best known for his role as Bucky in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most recently in Thunderbolts*, which is in cinemas now. He also earned himself award nominations and a Golden Globe win for his starring role in A Different Man.
Woodall launched to stardom in the second season of The White Lotus and has since starred in the TV adaptation of One Day for Netflix. He also played one of the love interests in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
Kurzelās latest film was his true-crime thriller The Order, featuring Nicholas Hoult, Jude Law, and Tye Sheridan.
Burning Rainbow Farm will be produced by Nicole OāDonohue, Kurzel, and Alexandra Taussig for Thirdborn, along with Adam Shulman of Anonymous Content, Alix Madigan of Mad Dog Films, and Justin Lothrop and Brent Stiefel of Votiv.
