Ryan Reynolds Wants His Imaginary Friend In IF First Trailer

When your a child you believe everything, even imaginary friends. Paramount Pictures have released the official first UK Teaser Trailer for IF and Ryan Reynolds wants his imaginary friend…back.
What if everything you believed as a kid was real? John Krasinski’s fantasy adventure steps into that world of Imaginary friends all through the eyes of a young girl. She’s been having a hard time and starts to see Imaginary friends, is it a superpower? However she wants to help all those friends before those ‘kids’ forget about them.
After A Quiet Place Krasinski’s direction for this film is family focused. When we where all young our minds took us to some amazingly creative places. This film seems to play on that and looks an interesting film, it would be nice to see Reynolds to do something a little less comedic more grown up.
Also released is a Behind the Scenes Featurette which teases a little more of the magic we can expect from IF...
From writer and director John Krasinski, IF is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. IF stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell alongside many more as the wonderfully unique characters that reflect the incredible power of a child’s imagination.
The rest of the cast includes John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, Alan Kim, Liza Colón-Zayas along with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell all involve voice only.
IF will be in UK and Irish Cinemas in May 2024, exact date Paramount Pictures have still to announce.
