Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is singing as it reclaims its title of the UK’s Number 1 film.

Thanks to an influx of digital s this week, the film muscles ahead of last week’s chart-topper A Man Called Otto (2) to earn its fifth total week at the top.

Top Gun: Maverick also enjoys a resurgence this week as it jumps four to Number 3.

This week’s highest new entry comes from none other than Cocaine Bear (4); the Elizabeth Banks-directed comedy-thriller, based on a true story, sees an oddball group of people congregate in a forest where a black bear – having ingested a considerable amount of cocaine – is on a rampage.

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish drops two places to Number 5, just ahead of John Wick: Chapter 2 (6) and John Wick (7) both of which climb two places this week, thanks to the latest instalment currently playing across cinemas. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum also rises this week, landing at Number 11 after climbing three.

Rock’n’roll biopic Elvis tumbles four to Number 8, while Babylon drops three to 9, and Black Adam rounds off the countdown at Number 10.
