Are you ready to reach for the stars? Soon you can with Adam Sandler and Netflix release the official second Trailer for Spaceman. No one can hear you scream, no one can see your lonely in space either!

I’ll be honest when it comes to comedic roles I have no time for that side of Sandler. I do enjoy his dramatic chops, I’ll go as far as saying it’s underrated. Johan Renck‘s film is another opportunity to showcase his dramatic side. Hustle and Uncut Gems are the most recent examples, this won’t be Adam Sandler performance we’ll know. Respect to Adam!

In this one he plays Czech Republic’s first astronaut Jakub, sent on a solitary mission. A lonely mission makes him reflect that the life and his life including his wife(Carey Mulligan), might not be waiting for him.

Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late. Directed by Johan Renck and based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia, the film also stars Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini.
