Times have changed since Ralph was on our big screens. Technology has improved, the internet, social media is all a part of daily lives now. So it’s no surprise six years after the original film Ralph and friends find themselves on the world wide web.
The video Arcade’s despite the nostalgia they bring to many, Online games and social media apps are now what young people want these days. Its uncharted territory for the big man may be not as much for Vanellope as she’s younger. The internet is so expansive and you can get lost in it if you have no clue about it.
This trailer highlights the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) establishing the humour as well. They have a few little digs at those little games and clickbait junk that plague people online. I wonder if they’ll be a few #FakeNews and digs at Mr. Trump too? Don’t expect much on plot details, this is just letting us know Wreck-It Ralph 2 is coming!
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will be digitized at a cinema near you this November (possibly 21st?). Taraji P.Henson, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch lend their voices to the cast. Zootropolis director Rich Moore is Directing.
