Everyone’s favourite leche-loving, swashbuckling, fear-defying feline returns this September. Universal Pictures have released the First UK Trailer for Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, as Puss burns eight lives! What will he do with his last?

Say hola to his little friends as Puss in Boots returns for a long awaited sequel to the popular Shrek Spinn-Off. It has been 11 years since the first film, after raking in just under £500million worldwide you wonder why it took so long?

Once again Antonio Banderas returns as Puss with Salma Hayek as his nemesis Kitty Soft Paws. Puss loves danger and has a disregard for it costing eight of his lives, he’s even lost count. He must embark on his greatest adventure and regain those lives and find the mythical Wishing Star in the Black Forest. He must humble himself and ask for help from Kitty.

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his ion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek).

The voice cast includes Olivia Colman, Harvey Guillén, Samson Kayo, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, John Mulaney, Florence Pugh, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ray Winstone.

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish will be released in the UK and Ireland from 21st September (23rd September in the U.S)
