Everyone Fights! As zombies genre go classical, that’s classical literature as Pride And Prejudice And Zombies with UK  Trailer, weapon in hand let’s fight! The first full promoadaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s horror parody of the classic Jane Austen period, even Rick Grimes would love.

It’s the versatile sub-genre that seems to give, give…groan. From the big blockbusters such as Maggie just when the genre starts to fall apart and gets stale a film comes along refreshes the palette of enthusiasm. When virtually every genre has been crossed, this  film comes of no surprise especially when Seth Grahame-Smith has made an career of mash ups. His fanboy take on classical novels twisting them with vampires, ninjas and zombies, if anything his wicked sense of fantasy may bring those who may have by the originals closer.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is a fresh twist on Jane Austen’s widely celebrated novel. A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.

The question is will it deliver a box-office success? It’s a hard one to judge as many will look at this as a horror film and may diss this without a look. Has the director went for a more serious approach? Whatever happens at the box office hardcore horror fans will enjoy this one.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will rise  into UK cinemas from 12th February 2016 starring Lilly James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcoate, Douglas Booth, Suki Waterhouse, Matt Smith, Lena Heady and Charles Dance.
