Pennywise Terrorises the 1960’s in the long awaited prequel series
Sky has released the official teaser trailer for IT: Welcome to Derry, Pennywise The Clown is returning!
They all float down there and this Autumn the all dancing iconic Stephen King monster will return. This time in the long awaited prequel series and expanding on the universe Andy Muschietti created on the big screen.
Starring Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso. Bill Skarsgård will once again dawn the creepy clown make up like he did in IT: Chapter One and Two.
Pennywise The Clown first appeared in the classic King Novel It in 1986. An shapeshifting extra-dimensional being who comes out of hibernation to terrorise the children of Derry, Maine. Hibernating every 27 years to prey on the the children of the town.
IT: Welcome To Derry is set in the 1960’s, leading up to the events that happened in IT: Chapter One then Two. This first teaser trailer we do meet the kids who will attempt to fight back, will they be ‘prey’?
IT: Welcome To Derry will premiere on SKY and streaming service NOW in the Autumn. No exact date has been announced just yet, the series will premiere HBO Max in the Autumn if you live Stateside.
