Next month Japan’s biggest box office hit is coming to the UK and Ireland, Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram. Today we get the UK Trailer and one truth prevails!

The story of Shinichi Kudō, a genius high school detective who takes on name “Conan Edogawa” when his body is shrunk down to child size after getting caught up with a mysterious criminal organisation.

In Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram , will finally uncover the truth behind fan favourite rival Kid the Phantom Thief. When Kid lays claim to a sword that once belonged to a famous member of the Shinsengumi, which grabs the attention of Conan. An adventure  that leads to murder, unsolved  historical mysteries , and a weapon that could change the course of war.

The voice cast includes Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa. Wakana Yamazaki as Ran Mori, Rikiya Koyama as Kogoro Mori and Kappei Yamaguchi as  Kid the Phantom Thief. Also Ryō Horikawa as Heiji Hattori and Yūko Miyamura as Kazuha Toyama.

Shinichi Kudo was a brilliant high school detective until one day he was turned into a child by the mysterious Black Organization. Taking on a new identity as Conan Edogawa to protect those close to him, Conan now pursues the Black Organization in hopes of finding the cure to bring him back to his teenage self.

When a calling card belonging to the legendary Kid the Phantom Thief is found in a warehouse belonging to an illustrious family in Hokkaido, Conan’s interest is piqued: why has a great thief well-known for his pursuit of precious gems set his eyes on swords dating back to the great Edo period? Meanwhile, the discovery of a body with a cross slashed across its chest leads to the “Merchant of Death”, an arms dealer who has his eyes set on an even greater treasure. With Conan and his fellow detective Heiji Hattori both hot on his trail, the exciting battle for treasure begins!

Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on 27th September.
