Noomi Rapace ‘Confused’? In The Secrets We Keep UK Trailer

Revenge is on Noomi Rapace‘s mind as Sky Cinema release the UK Trailer for thriller The Secrets We Keep. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star plays a Holocaust survivor burning question is she a little ‘confused’? Or has she seen a ghost from her past?

When it comes to living through the atrocities of war, many generations can be thankful we’ll never experience the horror. What if you escaped moved to the other side of the world , your new neighbour is responsible for heinous war crimes against  you? Revenge? We all know Rapace’s filmography makes her a bit of an ‘expert’ when it comes to revenge?! Lisbeth Salander!

This one we find ourselves in post-WWII America, Rapace plays a woman who is a Holocaust survivor rebuilding her life with her husband (Chris Messina) . Her life is turned upside down when her new neighbour (Joel Kinnaman) might be the man who committed heinous crimes against during the war. Is she mistaken? Only one way to find out, she kidnaps him.

This film comes with a lot of emotion, and teases a hard hitting complexed story on the cards. It may question the thought, does revenge bring closure?

Directed by Yuval Adler from a script by Ryan Covington and Yuval Adler.

The film also stars Amy Seimetz, and Lucy Faust.

The Secrets We Keep will be released on Sky Cinema from 14 May 2021. The film will also be available on streaming service NOW via the Sky Cinema hip.
