New Poster For Pedro Almodóvar ‘s The Room Next Door

Warner Bros. Pictures have released the first official Poster for The Room Next Door starring Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore.

The film marks the Spanish auteur’s first feature length in the English language. Almodóvar‘s last 2 films where sort films both in English language, The Strange Way Of Life starring Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal.

In The Room Next Door, Martha (Swinton) and Ingrid (Moore) are close friends since their youth. After circumstances in life the pair re-unite immersing themselves in past memories, life and much more. Their friendship will be tested thanks to a strange request.

This is based on Sigrid Nuez’s novel What Are Going Through. Despite not being an original story it still sounds like vintage Almodóvar. Hopefully soon we’ll be getting the UK Trailer…

Ingrid (Julianne Moore) and Martha (Tilda Swinton) were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine. Ingrid went on to become an autofiction novelist while Martha became a war reporter, and they were separated by the circumstances of life. After years of being out of touch, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.

The Room Next Door will be released in UK and Irish cinemas 25th October. The film also stars John Turturro, Alessandro Nivola, Esther McGregor, Alessandro Nivola and Juan Diego Botto.
