New Featurettes Delve Into Thriller September 5

We do love our historical driven thrillers and September 5 is one of those films, which will be in UK cinemas in a few weeks. Today Paramount Pictures sent us a number of Featurettes which delve into the film.
September 5, or to be more precise John Magaro leads the cast as ambitious producer determined to please his boss (Peter Sarsgaard). An the opportunity comes in the shape of the events with the Israeli athletes taken hostage.
We have 4 Behind The Scenes Featurettes, first up being Crafts Features. The crew and cast including producer Sean Penn chat about creating the film.
Next up is Live On Air, which they look at the pressure of covering such an even as The Olympics. As we know the 1972 games in German where no ordinary games.
The final 2 Featurettes Directing and Ensemble Cast are all about those behind and front of the camera.

“September 5” unveils the decisive moment that forever changed media coverage and continues to impact live news today. Set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, the film follows an American Sports broadcasting team that quickly adapted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage. Through this lens, “September 5” provides a fresh perspective on the live broadcast seen globally by an estimated one billion people at the time.
At the heart of the story is Geoff (John Magaro), a young and ambitious producer striving to prove himself to his boss, the legendary TV executive Roone Arledge (Peter Sarsgaard). Together with German interpreter Marianne (Leonie Benesch) and his mentor Marvin Bader (Ben Chaplin), Geoff unexpectedly takes the helm of the live coverage. As narratives shift, time ticks away, and conflicting rumors spread, with the hostages’ lives hanging in the balance, Geoff grapples with tough decisions while confronting his own moral com.
The film also stars Ben Chaplin, Leonie Benesch, Zinedine Soualem, Corey Johnson, Georgina Rich, Marcus Rutherford, Daniel Adeosun, Benjamin Walker, Ferdinand Dörfler. September 5 UK and Irish release date has changed with that cinematic release date now 6th February.
