Materialists New Trailer Shows Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal Love Triangle
A second trailer for A24’s Materialists has landed.
Johnson’s previous films have included Madame Web and Cha Cha Real Smooth. Evans has starred in Red One and is best known for his time as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Elsewhere, Pascal recently returned for season two of The Last Of Us. He is set to make his debut in the MCU in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The plot follows the trio in a love triangle, in which Johnson plays a New York-based matchmaker who finds herself torn between two very different people.
Pascal portrays an older man match, who is charming and rich. Meanwhile, Evans’s character is the imperfect but good-hearted ex-boyfriend, who she runs into after years of being apart. Zoë Winters, Marin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson, Sawyer Spielberg and Eddie Cahill co-star in the film. Producers are Song, David Hinojosa, Christine Vachon, and Pamela Koffler.
Distributed by Sony, the studio ended up acquiring multiple international territories from A24 in a reported eight-figure deal.
Materialists is set to release in US cinemas on June 13th.
