Marvel Unveil New Daredevil Season 2 Images

To say Daredevil‘s first season was a phenomenal success worldwide is a bit of an understatement, now the Netflix original series Marvel’s Daredevil returns with the highly anticipated second season of its epic live-action adventure series (season 1 is still streaming). The second season debuts amidst the release of the Netflix other original Marvel’s Jessica Jones,Thanks to the kind folks at Netflix we have some new images from the series which has newcomer Jon Bernthal (formerly of The Walking Dead).

For those not familiar with Daredevil,it’s based on the popular Marvel comics series of the same name.Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Television/ online shows have fast growing in quality delivering critically-acclaimed shows that challenging feature films made for cinema in production values. If we where to go buy a recent rumour that season 2 will be released worldwide the same day as Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice cinematically, it’s further evidence the gap between Television and cinema is no longer there. Netflix also have the Luke Cage and future release of Marvel’s Iron Fist, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders to premiere only on Netflix.

Daredevil Season 2 there will be a stellar cast including Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick).

2016 is certainly fast becoming another great year for the comic book die hards.
