It’s time for another episode of The Chronicle, the podcast for The Peoples Movies. For Episode 40, Clotilde & Paul review Nosferatu and 2073 – will they be ‘FANG-tastic’?

First up is Robert Eggers highly anticipated Nosferatu remake. If we go by the reaction of cinephiles and critics, you will be transfixed hailing it a masterpiece, will Clotilde and Paul agree? The film stars Nicholas Hoult is Thomas who is sent to Transylvania to sell the estate of Count Orlok (Bill SkarsgÄrd ). Orlok plans to move to Wisborg, Thomas is unaware the Count has eyes for his wife Ellen (Lilly-Rose Depp). The town is unaware Orlok is a Vampire! It also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Ineson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe and Simon McBurney.

Asif Kapida has created some great documentaries in his time about Amy Winehouse, Ayrton Senna and Diego Maradona. 2073 is a documentary but also a sci-fi drama starring Samantha Morton, Naomie Ackie. Ghost (Morton) lives in a dystopian authoritarian future the world is destroyed by the climate change. The film mixing history, facts, possibilities which are causing the crises and making things worse. Will the message of the film impact you?
