Let’s Get X-Rated With The Lovelace UK Trailer & Poster

She was the woman who performed that infamous ‘sex act’ in 1970’s porn but behind the glitz & glamour abuse and exploitation, a woman determined to expose the truth, watch the first UK trailer for Lovelace.

Amanda Seyfried stars a Linda Boreman the average working girl who becomes infamous porn star Linda Lovelace through the production of Deep Throat exploited, abused buy her husband Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgard). Once she set herself free from the shackles she spearheads the feminist anti-pornography movement . The film will follow the life of  Boreman through the x-rated films she made, the abuse leading to her fateful downfall.

There was a American trailer that was released online last week, but the UK version now reveals even more footage diving into the darker side side of the industry the side of Boreman’s life we don’t hear much off. There is also a goofy fun tone element too which is similar to Mark Whalberg’s Boogie Nights which is no surprise as both films are based on x-rated stars in with the same genre, so it obvious both films would be connected. Hopefully the film will give a fair balance of both sides of porn’s first superstar and to those who are thinking this as a career everything behind the camera (and front of it) is not as glamorous you may think. We also have a new poster which represents the 1970’s disco pop culture era.

Lovelace is directed by Howl directing duo of  also starring Juno Temple, Chris Noth, Adam Brody, Robert Patrick, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria and Wes Bentley. The film will be released in UK&Ireland on 23rd August, no need for a dirty mac but don’t take your granny though.
