Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac “Splits” In First Red Band Trailer

 

Just when you thought it was safe to say Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist was one fucked up sexually charged flick wait to you  feast your eyes on the first Red band trailer for Nymphomaniac, no need to hide your modesty just “whip it” all out!

Put your children to bed early, keep your great aunt fanny away watching Corrie, Don’t let your boss see you watching this as Nymphomaniac is one video that’ll get you into big bother especially from those who don’t understand, it’s 100% NSFW. Five hours hours delivered in two parts Lars Von Trier‘s sex marathon stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as Joe a self diagnosed sex addict (nymphomaniac) the film chronicles her erotic journey through life. Her 50 year journey she tells to Seligman (Stellan Skarsgard) a charming older bachelor who saves her.

After months  of wondering how far will he take Nymphomaniac all is revealed in the opening seconds with “oral sex” and drooling faced cast . Its dark, twisted, explicit but that’s what we expect from Mr Von Trier! Artistically and putting aside the sexual side of the film aesthetically the switch between colour , black & White as well screen aspect ratio visually wonderful.

For a film that’s been pushed as sexually explicit Nymphomaniac has a fantastically diverse cast of  Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, Jean-Marc Barr, and Udo Kier. No official UK release date yet but expect it sometime 2014 with Denmark and Norway getting ‘extra stuffing’ with their turkey and trimmings on Christmas day.
